Before I founded Kerwo I was a retailer myself and ran my own online shop. So I know how RRPs and struck-through prices come about and how to recognise a genuinely good offer.
That is why at Kerwo: savings only with a traceable comparison price, prices checked regularly at the retailer, and fake discounts are out.
How I workKerwo Deals is an independent tech magazine: buying advice that explains what really matters, and offers that are checked before they are published. Every day we review offers from retailers such as Coolblue, notebooksbilliger.de, Dyson and Anker and only put together the ones we would buy ourselves.
Why Kerwo exists
Anyone looking for new headphones, a vacuum cleaner or a monitor quickly ends up in a thicket: best-of lists where the product with the highest commission wins in the end, deal sites celebrating the same “bangers” with inflated RRPs every day, and guides nobody has touched for years while the recommended devices have long sold out.
Kerem Özkan, who founded Kerwo, knows that feeling from experience: a lot of time invested and still unsure at the end whether a price is really good or just looks good. Kerwo is the attempt to do it better.
- Updated every day. New offers are searched daily; prices and availability are checked several times a day at the retailer. Anything sold out is ended and marked as expired.
- Fixed rules instead of gut feeling. The daily search only publishes deals that meet all the rules; everything else is checked by hand.
- Nothing is pushed on a whim. No shop can buy a placement. The order follows demand, price and recency.

How we select deals
An offer only makes it onto the site if it passes fixed rules: the price is checked directly at the retailer, the product is in stock, the saving is real and shown with a comparison price, and there is demand. From each product line at most one deal runs at a time, so you do not see the same device five times in different colours. Every deal gets its own text explaining what the product is, who it is worth it for and what to look out for.
Prices and freshness
We read prices regularly from the shop page and show them with a timestamp. If a price drops, you see it directly on the deal. The price in the shop is always binding, because offers can end at any time. Deals expire automatically after a few days so that nothing outdated remains here.
Guides instead of sales pressure
Our buying guides are written independently of individual offers. They explain which technology makes sense for which purpose, which spec-sheet figures count and which only sound good. No best-of lists by commission, no products we do not know.
Independence and funding
The site is ad-financed: some links are affiliate links through which we receive a commission from the retailer on a purchase. The price does not change for you, and no shop can buy a placement. Partners send us their product catalogue with prices and images on an ongoing basis, which makes their offers easier to work through. All other offers we check by hand. Every deal is marked as an ad.
Data-saving
No cookies, no trackers, no analytics services. When you click a deal we only store that the deal was clicked, no personal data.

- You discover. Filter by category, shop or time left. New deals appear on the home page right away.
- You buy directly from the retailer. One click takes you to the shop, where you see price, availability and shipping as of today.
Why this magazine
- Prices with a timestamp, no fake discounts. We read prices regularly from the retailer and show when we checked. We only show a struck-through price if the retailer states it itself, and we name it clearly, for example as RRP.
- Transparent advertising. Every deal is marked as an ad. Links go straight to the shop; the price does not change for you.
- Real numbers. Counters, rankings and badges are based solely on real deals and real clicks.
- Fast and light. No cookies, no trackers, no pop-ups. The site loads quickly, even on the go.
Ad: links to partner shops are affiliate links. If you buy through them we receive a commission; your price stays the same. Prices are snapshots; the price in the shop is binding.
How current are the prices?
We check prices regularly on the shop page and show them with a timestamp. If a price drops, you see it on the deal. The price in the shop is always binding; for some shops we do not show prices.
How long is a deal valid?
Every deal has a time left. When it runs out, the page stays available as an archive and the buy button disappears.
What happens when I click a deal?
You are taken straight to the shop. We only store that the deal was clicked, no personal data. The price stays the same for you.
